Q: What is Shawnee Bible Church?
A: We are a Bible believing Christian fellowship committed to reaching the lost with the Gospel of Christ and then bringing Christians to maturity in Christ.
Q: Is the church part of a denomination?
A: Shawnee Bible Church, like many other Bible-preaching churches, is an independent local assembly of believers. We fellowship with the Southern Baptist Convention.
Q: What is your form of church government?
A: We operate under a plurality of Elders form of church Government.
Q: Why are the midweek Small Groups and the Discipleship teams so important in your church?
A: In many churches, members sit and observe and never really become disciples of Christ much less disciple makers. Our goal is to see every member come to maturity in Christ and fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples.

Q: What are Breakout Groups?
A: Breakout Groups are the small groups that meet just after the service. These groups are encourage personal connections, bearing each others burdens and loving each other as Christ loves the Church.
Q: Why do you integrate ages in most of your programs?
A: There is great wisdom in keeping the age groups together. Our youngest members learn from the example of the older members. These are believers who have much to offer: experience, wisdom and guidance. Our desire is to equip believers for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12). Anything we do in the church is based on this goal.
